This guide walks you through connecting the Woo Checkbox Webhook plugin to your preferred automation tools like Zapier or Make via a webhook.
Configure General Settings
Checkbox Label
Checkbox Label is the text is shown next to the checkbox on the checkout page. (e.g. “Subscribe to the newsletter”)
WooCommerce Checkout Integration
The plugin supports both checkout types:
Checkout Block Opt-in
- Enable this to show the opt-in checkbox when using the WooCommerce Checkout Block Editor (Gutenberg).
Checkout Shortcode Opt-in
- Enable this to show the opt-in checkbox when using the standard checkout shortcode (
[woocommerce_checkout]).
This setting is required if you’re using:
- Bricks Builder Checkout Builder
- Elementor Pro’s WooCommerce Checkout Widget
Both of these page builders rely on the default WooCommerce shortcode behind the scenes to render the checkout form. Enabling this ensures the opt-in checkbox is displayed correctly on your custom-designed checkout pages.
If you’re building your checkout with Bricks or Elementor, make sure this setting is enabled or the checkbox won’t appear!
Webhook Settings
Enable Webhook
- Toggle this on to start sending subscriber data to your webhook endpoint.
Webhook URL
- Enter the Webhook URL provided by your automation tool (e.g. Zapier or Make, Sure Triggers).
- This is where the data from the opt-in will be sent in real-time.
Webhook Data to Send
Select which customer data fields you’d like to include in the webhook payload:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Country
- Phone
- Company
- Address 1
- Address 2
- City
- State
- Postcode
Tip: Make sure your webhook endpoint is prepared to receive and process the fields you select.
