Bricks Builder Checkout Integration

You can use Woo Checkbox Webhook with Bricks Builder to collect email opt-ins directly from your custom WooCommerce checkout page.

To make the opt-in checkbox appear inside the Bricks-built checkout, one plugin setting must be enabled—and a few setup steps are needed in Bricks.

Required Setting

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Woo Checkbox Webhook and toggle “WooCommerce Checkout Shortcode Opt-in” to Enabled

This enables the checkbox to appear when using the standard WooCommerce checkout shortcode, which Bricks Builder relies on.

How to Set Up the Checkout Page in Bricks

To integrate the plugin with Bricks, follow these steps:

1. Assign a WooCommerce Checkout Page

  • Go to Pages → Add New (if you do not have a checkout page)
  • Name it something like Checkout
  • Add the WooCommerce Checkout block/shortcode to this page in the default WordPress editor: ([woocommerce_checkout])
  • Publish the page

This sets the base page for WooCommerce’s checkout functionality.

2. Create a Bricks Template for Checkout

Now let’s customize the layout in Bricks:

  • Go to Bricks → Templates → Add New
  • Set the Template Type to “WooCommerce – Checkout”
  • Open the template in Bricks Builder
  • Build your custom checkout layout using Bricks’ WooCommerce elements
  • Under Conditions, you do not need to set anything extra as Bricks Builder already assigned this template to the checkout page

Official Bricks Docs: Checkout Page Setup Guide

As long as your template wraps around the base page using the standard WooCommerce checkout, the opt-in checkbox will automatically appear if the Shortcode Opt-in setting is enabled.

Notes

  • Do not skip the shortcode step—the opt-in box depends on it.
  • The webhook only sends data if the customer checks the box at checkout.
  • This setup works without any extra coding—just toggle the setting and use Bricks as usual.
